Call for Food Industry Leaders: Test a Machine Learning Platform for R&D Acceleration

From June 16 to 20, we are opening a limited opportunity for 5 Canadian food and ingredient companies to participate in a real-world pilot for product formulation or optimization using BEAM, our AI-powered platform.

What is BEAM?

Developed by Elytra Biomaterials Inc., BEAM is a Canadian startup solution that leverages artificial intelligence to accelerate formulation, research and development, and process optimization in food and ingredient innovation.

What does this initiative offer?

• Open and guided access to the BEAM platform for a real case of product development or improvement

• Full technical support: data structuring, feature engineering, and a custom neural network tailored to your goals

• Personalized training for your technical team

• Co-creation of a success case with measurable and comparative results, to be jointly published

Participation Requirements

• Be a Canadian company in the food or ingredient sector

• Be an active member of RCIA (Réseau Canadien d'innovation en alimentation)

• Ability to start the pilot within 4 weeks of acceptance

• A validation cycle of no more than 3 months

• Commitment to collaborate in documenting and publishing the success case

• Call opens: Monday, June 16, 2025

• Call closes: Friday, June 20, 2025

• Selected participants announced: Monday, June 23, 2025
